Reminder on clearing airport security

The TSA has a Web page called Permitted and Prohibited Items which contains all the information the TSA thinks you need; it also has links to additional specific information, including a helpful .pdf file for you to print out and bring along.

In addition to the usual no-liquids-gels-aerosols-greater-than-three-ounces, we have a few rules on tools. You may bring scissors, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other items subject to certain size limits. Knives, unless round bladed butter knives and plastic knives, are still prohibited, but you may bring multi-tools that have no knife blades, provided they fall within the size limit.

Still, though, we may not bring our billy clubs and black jacks.

And also still, though, the person at the gate has final say.
